At the 2008 Bicycle Leadership Conference in San Diego, California, Bicycle Retailer and Industry News (BRAIN) awarded Plan B Cycling the prestigious BRAINy award for The Best New Bike Shop. The BRAINy awards are handed out to the best in each category as voted by the represenatives from 13 of the largest brands in the bike industry. They vote for the shops based on market share, store appearance, and community involvement.
