Steve Bodnaruk, Plan B Cycling
Steve Bodnaruk began working in bike shops at age 15 - and hasn’t looked back since. Starting in 1995, Bodnaruk worked as the Midwest Technical Representative for SRAM, and later as SRAM’s National Technical Representative. In this role, Bodnaruk traveled the world and worked alongside the sport’s top professionals including mountain bike legends Ned Overend (national champion), Greg Herbold (national champion), Andreas Hestler (national champion), Travis Brown (national champion), Bert Bretjens (Olympic gold medalist), John Tomac (world champion) - and road bike champions Cadel Evans, Floyd Landis and Lance Armstrong.

Following his tenure at SRAM, Bodnaruk relocated to Florida in 2002 and began working in local bike shops and also as a sales representative for Litespeed, Merlin, Quintana Roo, Zipp, Oakley, Descente and The Hawley Company.

After so many years of experience in the industry, Bodnaruk’s long-time vision for a bike shop became reality in April 2007. Plan B Cycling opened its doors and was on its way to becoming a favorite shop for local cyclists - and winner of the “Best New Bike Shop in North America” award from Bicycle Retailer & Industry News. Bodnaruk holds several industry certifications for bike fitting, including Waterford Fitmasters, Fit Institute Slowtwitch (F.I.S.T.) and Bikefitting.com.
